About writing

Few things have been as hard, and at the same time, as beneficial for me as writing.

Writing has helped me free my mind from the ever daunting thoughts and ideas that come to me during the day, thus reducing the endless internal conversations that tend to drain my mental energy. Other attempts to do so have been tried, sticking to a morning routine of yoga, breathing exercises and meditation has been very helpful, but the effects do fade away after a few hours as I dive deeper into my day.

This is a new attempt to proactively document my thoughts, projects and ideas, both as a way to leverage my learnings into more productive and practical outcomes, but also to take away the weight of holding it all together constantly in my mind.

"It is too common a thing to keep a day by day diary, yet one cannot afford to forget the mental conflicts... To record the growth of our thoughts is one of the most pleseant joys to be enjoyed."

— Apalay (Abdul Wahid Radhu), Tibetan Caravans
